Hey guys,
Pratise here again! Today, we are going to continue with the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone. We have only 1 week of school left!. #ByeSchool. I am honestly so glad because I was so over this whole online school thing, but anyway let's get into the world of Harry Potter. Just one thing, Check out this video because it is a GEM! Check it out here! Last time we ended of with Harry in Ollivander's (the wand shop) just when he found the right wand. SPOILER ALERT (again!)
"CURIOUS" What was so curious, you may be asking. Ollivander explained that he remembers every wand that was ever sold. He said that the core of Harry's wand was a phoenix feather. The phoenix that had given this feather had given just one more feather. He said that it was curious how Harry was destined for this wand when its brother gave Harry his famous lighting scar. Since Harry thought he got that scar from a car crash, he was more confused than he already was. Just then, Hagrid came by the door saying, 'Happy Birthday Harry!' He was holding a cage with a brilliant white owl inside.
The scene then switches to a sort of hotel. There Harry asks to learn about his past to Hagrid who is a bit hesitant to share things. He says that when Harry was young, Voldemort (a dark wizard {He says that not all wizards are good}} tries to kill Harry and his parents because of a prophecy and because Harry's parents fought against Voldemort.
Harry is just... surprised by this news that Voldemort tried to kill HIM. (Little does he know, there is so much more to that story, just something for you guys to think upon. HeHeHe😁)
We then see the scene switch to a bridge on a station which we then come to know as King's Cross. Hagrid, exclaims that he is running late and hands Harry a ticket. He asks Harry to make sure to stick to his ticket. When Harry looks down at it, it says platform 9 and 3/4. Harry is utterly confused and turn to ask Hagrid what it means, but by that time, Hagrid is already gone. Harry wonders around platform 9 and 10, when he asks someone where he can find platform 9 3/4, the person says that he must be joking and walks away. That's when a family with red hair and freckles walked past holding a cart that looks just like Harry's.
"JUST LIKE EVERY YEAR, PACKED WITH MUGGLES"
To be continued!
